On top of a multipurpose LAN (local area network) facility, FIU Esports will include both an intramural club, a varsity league, and fresh academic pathways to the esports industry.

The esports operation and its facility promise to improve diversity in esports culture while turning FIU into South Florida’s premier gaming authority.

Competition-in-community thrives in centralized hubs. That’s why the FIU Esports program is complete with its own state-of-the-art local area network (LAN) and immersive learning facility located in the forthcoming SIPA II building.

This inclusive environment will include:
  • 48 esports desktops
  • Competition stage
  • Live audience seating for up to 60 people
  • A fully-equipped LED streaming and broadcasting station
  • A podcasting studio
  • Live streaming event and tournament capabilities and more
